It seems odd that we would be required to share rooms in such a large place -- and odder still that our roommates do not necessarily need to share our same gender. To be quite honest, I'm not entirely comfortable with this particular arrangement. I would much prefer something else. No offense to you intended, Lenalee, but the nature of a gentleman prohibits me from feeling appropriate in such a situation.

Well? How about a trade? Surely the names on the doors can be ignored. In reality, I'd prefer a room of my own, but I am aware such a thing is not likely possible. I'll be glad to settle on a compromise.

I'm certain this house is every bit as lovely as it seems, but I'm also certain I won't be staying here. I wouldn't say that I'm eager to get back, but I'm not in the mood for a practical joke.
